Most forums have a smiley with a puddle of drool below it. That would be entirely appropriate to follow those pictures!

For goodness sakes, what camera do you use, Graeme, and have you taken classes on photography? It's like seeing the fish in person, in the perfect lighting.

wow you guys are right i guess i do need to start visiting other fish stores there are only two in my immedit area

Darren,

When you go shopping, keep in mind that most fish in the store are stressed and don't really show their true colors. These barbs of Graeme's have been fed well and have lived in a good envioronment for a while. The best thing to do is do your research, know what you want, and then when you see them, you can get them, no matter how drab they look in the store. Take good care and they'll brighten up in time.

I'll second what Tammy says with patience of fish maturing in colour. :wink:

Tammy, My camera is nothing 'flashy' It's a Nikon coolpix7900. Although this winter i do intend on purchasing a SLR camera. Lucky shots and long nights trying to capture one more better picture was what i do, did. done. :D
