looking at your pics farid it does have a lot of similarities to fasciatus maybe one of the guys with the book on the hillstreamers can comment on this.

that could be the only book then mate, as you know with all fish there is a slight variation in the pattern of the fish depending on where they were caught, and the trouble is there's hardly any pics to compare this species.

Hi Pseudogastro fancier.
For these past several days, introductions of some Pseudogastromyzon genus occur at the same time.
Because it is a good opportunity, I introduce pictures of my Pseudogastromyzon.sp in a mass.
The first Pseudogastromyzon.sp and fasciatus? . 2005-2006.
A very small individual was mingled with P.cheni, and they were sold.
Very big individual. P.fasciatus? 2006.
Individual with the medium size. P.fasciatus? 2008.
Pseudogastromyzon.sp ??fangi?? 2007.
I think farid's new Pseudogastromyzon.sp is the different species.
General Pseudogastromyzon cheni.
Aren't at least 4 species of Pseudogastromyzon genus sold including P.cheni?
I don't know the reliability well, but there is a page of photograph collection of enormous Chinese freshwater fish.
Pseudogastromyzon peristictus, P. fangi, P.laticeps, P.myersi, P.peristictus, P.tungpeiensis and P.tungpeiensis.

The picture of P.tungpeiensis is similar to the fish which I thought it was P.fasciatus.
I am glad if they are useful for somebody.

I now know I have 3 Pseudogastromyzon Cheni, thanks to the last 4 pictures. I've been trying to work out what they were for months, the LFS had them listed as Gastromyzon Borneensis, which is somewhat generic.
I've tried taking photos, but my substrate is black and they are dark brown, khaki, green, with the yellow and red dorsal and a red tip to the tail fin. None of the pictures could do them justice.
One more fish mystery solved, thanks.
