btw, that f'n ba'rd lies there not breathing, spoiling my dinner. I decided to get him even before eating. I doublechecked, no breathing. As I cuff up the sweater to get him out, and moved the lamp - it got up, like "good morning"... their old trick never wears out
I had the flow rate a bit too high, the cold water (which gets heated in the tank water) must have saturated the water with oxygen, thus no gill movement at all (just opens his mouth in the stream?).
Recently one Y. Caudipunctata fooled me also, the one with only one eye was lying like dead in the "driveway" to his cave, laying on his only eye, I took a pic, I am sure, you would be fooled too. He looked dead-dead and was complaining me disturbing.
I shuold not even write about it, otherwise I find a disappointment soon.
