Thanks for taking a look.

btw, that f'n ba'rd lies there not breathing, spoiling my dinner. I decided to get him even before eating. I doublechecked, no breathing. As I cuff up the sweater to get him out, and moved the lamp - it got up, like "good morning"... their old trick never wears out  I had the flow rate a bit too high, the cold water (which gets heated in the tank water) must have saturated the water with oxygen, thus no gill movement at all (just opens his mouth in the stream?).
Recently one Y. Caudipunctata fooled me also, the one with only one eye was lying like dead in the "driveway" to his cave, laying on his only eye, I took a pic, I am sure, you would be fooled too. He looked dead-dead and was complaining me disturbing.
I shuold not even write about it, otherwise I find a disappointment soon.

I know what you mean, my big histies have been doing it a lot lately just laying on their side or completely upside down and moving their gills maybe once every 30 seconds or so. Even after all these years you still have to do the double take to check and get that flutter of panic

If any are laid over now I just touch the lid and the thought of food soon makes sure they move
