but the fish in the pic has'nt got the black markings on the first few rays of the dorsal that i've seen in the fish at the shop.
I had a couple of
T. pulcher some years ago, they looked stunning even in the stock tank. They were one of my favourite fish and I was so upset when I lost them due to a major problem with the filter. I haven't seen any since then.

Hi Em, i know one of the show boys bought a few to grow on and show, even they said the colour hardly changed on them so they never went on the bench.
you just got lucky with some really good ones.

Beautiful fish!!
I agree that 3 and 4 are probably
Parabotia. They look similar to the two I have.
I hope we can see more pics like this. I would love to see some of the cool Chinese hillstreams. hint hint

Specialist loach tlc that is Mick
Those chinese loaches are stunners........ I just wish that some could be imported......its a little stupid why not.....
Mainly 'loachie' (yes yes it is a name we all posess by... well my parents and friends) people will buy them-I dont think they will come with a 'cheap price tag, so I highly doubt they will be chucked away, plus they eat these kinda fish in china

some of the species anyway, so were is the harm in handing a few over
Anyone fancy a trip to try and sneak some of these into the UK
