hi all
hi farid: congratulations for the kindergarden. when are you moving your bed out?
for f2: it's done
found some youngsters in the 240 lt tank. not b.kweichowensis, p. cheni or s. wui

but from the 3.5 cm lineolatas of november 2007
a little shiny after the change to a little tank
looked a little better after some hours
better pics to come
to compare with the first generation
I'd better buy some more tanks. at least I have enough place to stock them
are there many second generation youngsters around?
cheers charles

Here is a little different and more aggressive action with my hillstreams. Plus a lot of fry and youngsters of different sizes will swim by.

It looks like breeding is roughly every 3 weeks, with 10-15 fry surviving. The 30 gallon tank right now has at least 75 fish of different sizes. Catching these fish is almost impossible. Even once trapped in a net they are tough to get off of the side of the tank. Baby brine shrimp fed twice daily has really increased the number of fry surviving.
