Thanks for all the complements.

It took me a while to refinish the stand, but I'm pretty happy with the result.
Simple process really: sand/clean the surface, patch cracks/holes, 2 layers of prime and 2 layers of semi-gloss paint and finally, new hardware at the end.

It's huge inside, I could fit my 55G with ease (55G as a sump, that's an idea!)

The next step, equipments, will be quite the opposite: just a few clicks away but a lot of $$$. Still researching all kinds of scenarios. I realize that it would be too costly to get all equipments in one shot, so I'm going to start with the bare min and add the rest as it goes.
