i once lost some sids to it. I was really sloppy doing a water change and WHAM!
lesson learned.

I always use a Qtank for one month even for plants. Why not save yourself some massive problems.
btw - I used coppersafe and it worked like a charm.

I've never had ich. I have UV on all my tanks, even the quarantine tanks. I also do long quarantines for fish.

Haven't had ich in at least 5 years, but I am really hesitant to add new fish to my tanks..

But I quarantine and treat all new fish before I add them to my tanks.
