hi. no one ever sayd to breed sewellias you need a hill stream setup
i keep all my sewellias exept sp. "spotted"(100L) and the gastromyzons (54L) in a tank with a additional 2500L/h nanostream...otherwise i breed them just with my airfiltersystem... ---> HAMBURGER MATTENFILTER---> check google
i also hat some baby lineolatas accidently in my L46 tank...with 29-30°C (airfiltered) this was never a problem!

Farid.... with all your tanks, do you have much in the way of fast flow current in them?
I ask this because I would like to try and set up a 3 shelf stand with 3x 2ft tanks on each shelf (9 tanks all up). These would be sitting longwise so that I only see the ends of each tank. I want to keep (and try to breed) the 5-6 varities of sewellia, gastromyzon and beufortia hillstream loaches that are occasionally available in Australia (very hard to find the sewellia and beufortia though).
I am thinking that a 60cm long tank, that is only 30cm high but is 40cm wide should be enough room for 5-10 little hillstream loaches.
In your opinion are these dimensions okay?
