BTW, Petsmart (at least ALL of the local ones in my area and I have THREE...kinda local, within an hour) use the SAME cheap test strips to do your "free" testing, so if you have a pack of test strips .....save yourself the trip.
It might be interesting to take a water sample in, and see what they use.
If it is the liquid based test (like API) then you are lucky and should take advantage of the free service!

Another great food that's sort of veggie and high in protein are peas! I use frozen peas, soften them up in the microwave and a little water (covered), then squeeze them out their shells and drop them in when they've cooled. All fish love them and it's healthy for them too.
