I'm glad you informed Martin about the book situation, Emma. He really needed to know. Hopefully, his visit is going well. I'm sure he enjoyed meeting you, Marge and the babies.
I'm also glad you enjoyed what you have seen of the book. It certainly will be nice to see it all together in book form next year.
I sure like the new avatar, too, Graeme.
I will miss the little walking guy, though.

Yesterday was all such a crazy blurr, it's a pity that Graeme and the other's didn't get to hear my readings. Ever had a day in your life that you wished lasted 48 hours?
Emma, Helen and I were standing in the shop, long after they closed, in front of two enormous marine display tanks while I read parts out. I have to say that reading it out loud to fresh ears and hearing coos and comments of approval coming back (admittedly from Loachaholics) was most gratifying. It just reinforces the belief we've always had that we actually produced something of real merit.
Now if we can just introduce upadates and minor revisions to make it truly cutting-edge again by publication, I'll be a happy bunny.
Loach-porn lives!
Martin.

I must say I too am pleased that fresh ears have given their stamp of approval. Now the waiting period (roud 2..or 3?) begins. Resilience will prevail and the peoples of the Earth will hear the glory of Loachdom!

Maybe the German version of our book will be called "Mein Loach"
More Loach than Kampf
Martin.
