I want a loach shirt. 0__0
Maybe just a regular t-shirt tho, instead of the girly one. :X

Hi all,
Well it was a very long drive home for Susan and myself, lots of traffic but we made in it the end :-)
I would like to say thank you to Emma and Steve for their hospitality, it was second to none! I think that Martin's comments on the store are spot on, certainly we have not seen one better!
Any way a few photos:

Yes, i had a w-i-d-e angle lens ;-) which is why this is a little distorted but it does give a wonderful impression on just how but this display tank is, it's just a shame there are so many people in front of it!

A shot of the loach section. So many beautiful specimens here it was not hard to see why Graeme went home with 3 boxes of fish...
Meeting up with everyone was a real pleasure, it was great to put faces to names and get to talk loach all day.
I also have a video of Marge, quality is not that great, it was taken with my phone... In any case there are two versions:
large:
17Mb
and a scaled down version:
4.2Mb
Again i'm hosting these on my home machine, they will take a while to download and are linked as
torrents.

Emma's shirt is really neat. The Clown is all beaded, not painted.

Just seeing the few pics I have so far, its no wonder you all look so happy in the pics. That is one impressive store!!!
I still think you need to open another store in the Midwest US.

An excellent idea to consider...of course, after you open one on the East Coast.
Darn...I cannot see the fish, but the way the tanks are set up is already the best I've seen anywhere. Great job! (and great photos)

does that mean if Darren asks you out on a date, you'll go?
somehow i doubt.
i did remark to Martin in a private email that indeed and truly you are extremely eye candy. he says the pictures don't do you justice.

The store is in Crowland, near Peterborough. Our web page is here:

And Momfish, stop it, you're making me blush!

So many of the loaches we keep would be so much better in large shoals like this. Emma's going to inspire a lot of keepers. How I would love to have 20 striata instead of the three I have now... And darios, and clowns, and kubs... Urgh.
The concept of keeping numerous medium sized tanks for species-only stock is really rather good.
