I have pics of the first stellatus I got a few years back, but can't get them out of my old computer. My camera needs some software updates before I can use it , so I guess the answer is no.
One of my fish looks like the the pic I sent you and pics of your and mikev's light colored fish without that bar accross the back. Its about 1.5" long. The other is only about 1" long and is very dark with the fine spots and other characteristics of the above mentioned fish. I have had about four or five specimens of this species and they have all been dark with the fine spots except one. None have had the larger bolder markings of your dark fish and Martin's. I wonder if we have two forms of the same fish or two species. One thing you have to think about is which fish are found together. According to Dr. Tan, ctenocephalus, ocellatus and stellatus are found together. Ctenocephalus is also found with zebrinus. No other gastros are listed as being found with these fish.

I don't think mine have any bars on them.

It seems to me that mine are different from Martin's: his appear to show fewer but larger markings than mine.

I can see them on your fish. Actually, a better word would be "lines".
Just look at the thin line accross the back around the dorsal fin.

All but one here seem to have it, but it feels more like an individual variation. I'll take a look again, if I can ever get the last one to come to the front.
