Great picture Graeme
I had three eos and the largest of the three (a female) was extremely aggressive, and I agree about the loudness of the clicks. I had a 23 foot living room and you could easily hear them at the other end of the room whilst watching the TV!.
The Dark One always likes the dark side!

I went to toronto (an 8 hour drive) and called Harold a couple of days before to see what he had in stock...eos being one of the loaches.
but alas it was sunday and he wasn't in and the worker couldn't find any to sell me. Hey at least I got some Histies
but ya it is hard getting loaches in the great white north.

Nice Eos, Mine does not have a red tail, it is more of a darker brown/ yellow tail. Of my loaches, the eos is up there with the loudness. I think that my tiger is difinitely the loudest with a more heavy solid click. My eos sounds as loud, maybe, but with a higher pitch and kinda metalic sound. One thing is for sure, my eos has the highest frequency of clicks/second, about 4 a second it seems (4hz). The Large Clown has the deepest and heavies click but definitely not as loud. All this could be relative to my hearing sensetivity too..lol. Can you guys tell which botia is clicking without looking? Sometimes you just cant help of thinking of who is fighting based on the clicks.

Nope. I don't share my ugly tanks. Just the fish. But here's half of the tank (other half has wood).
