Thanks for the reasurance! Does anyone know how the loach hiearchy affect their colors? Is darker less dominant and grey more? Does it even go in order?poeticpyro wrote:my alpha is CONSTANTLY greyed out!

Greg,
If the meds are working then the clowns will be more active, and you will stop seeing the spots. Now there are still cysts that exist in the tank so you have to vacuum, vacuum and vacuum some more. Did you take the carbon filter out - if you have one. The carbon filter takes the meds out of the water.
As far as your greyed out clown, my oldest one is grayed out and always has been, but he is happy and active. My babies have very dark stripes, and they are happy, too! So go figure!

Well, there do apear to be less spots, and the loaches are alot more hungry. So I'll supose its still working. I'll do a 50% water change before the next does of meds.
