The Leptobotia stultus seem happy with the other aggressive loaches. The others seem to just ignore them, as if they weren't there.
Perhaps when we get a better image we should add it to the Species index?

How do you find they get on in the Grrrr tank? Mine are still in a species only tank, as I don't quite know where to house them yet. Do you find that they stand their ground when approached by the other aggressive species?

Time for SPOILER POST
I posted this earlier but Graeme asked me to remove it to let these two jokers have some more fun:
You sure about that ID? I thought it looked similar to the so called "Kissing Loach",
Leptobotia curta. Mind you, that is a Japanese species if my memory serves me right.
Would this bigger picture help?
Nice try with the sweetie dispenser
Martin.

You know, I was thinking, this morning, about Martin's elaborate Sewellia hoax last year at this time....yet I fell for this hook, line and sinker..
Fool me once, shame on you...fool me twice shame on me.

I was quite suprised when I saw they "had" you Jim. I looked at it last night when I was about ready to collapse in bed. I didn't click right then.
This morning I knew straight away
So after posting that picture message Graeme PM's me and asks for me to X it. Then he and Em and I exchanged a few PMs. I thought I would reinforce their prank.
I'm not sure if Emma "got" Ahafang Trading Company or not.
Martin.

Oh yes, I got the
a-ha connection all right!!!

Which is why I said I'd heard good things about them!
Sorry Jim, Graeme and I were having so much fun with this and although were cackling away to ourselves into the early hours of this morning, I did feel really guilty that we'd really managed to get you believing us!
Thanks to everyone for being such good sports, hope you enjoyed it.

Hey, don't be sorry. This was nicely done. I appreciate a good practical joke, having pulled a few myself and having been sired by a master.
I looked at that last night and thought something looked odd, but I had forgotten about those loach candy dispensers. I also tend to be a trusting soul...see where that got me.

Very, very funny! I trusted and believed it all too, but that picture Emma posted with it on its side looked suspicious, not because it was on its side, but because it looked a little awkward or just not quite right. I'll be watching out for you guys in the future!

Just once a year Keith, we play a trick and hopefully it works. Otherwise we are genuine with our information. You can trust us any day except April the 1st.
