Hi Graeme
I dont have a scanner, I could try and photograph them but they dont tend to come out well?
The fish is pictured or drawn in the following books:
The Freshwater Fishes of Central Vietnam - Serov et al, 2006.
The Freshwater Fishes of Vietnam, Volume 2 - Nguyen, 2005.
Fishes of Laos - Kottelat, 2001.
Fishes of the Cambodian Mekong - Rainboth, 1996.

That could be any one of many "lizard fish" type hillstreams.
I wish the pic was clearer.

Yeah, thats my concern also. I just wish they would bloody take a picture of the fish alive.....

Me too. A photo tank pic sure looks better than a fish out of water or my least favorite, the pickled fish.

Lol yep too difficult to id from the pics posted on the other forum. It's amazing that scientists don't realise how difficult it is to identify a dead fish correctly.

Your'e welcome.
I think there is only one
Annamia species described anyway.
A. normani was described from Kontum,
Annam, in Vietnam (hence the name
Annamia).
