Those rams do indeed look fantastic, in fact all of the fish pictured look in top condition. Emma I didn't realise you were so hot  Thanks to all involved in making my day successful. Next time I intend to be there in person!

An excellent meet! It is always a pleasure to meet up with everyone from the forum and just geek out on the fish :-) I have been meaning to post earlier but was too busy sorting out all the fish last night and this morning i got very distracted spending a few hours just watching the new fish in the tank.

Things have certainly livened up in the tank with the addition of the Sinogastromizon Wui and Annamia normani. The Normani seem very similar to the Cheni in personality and territory preferences so there has been a lot of scuffling and sizing up to see who gets the prime spots. At the moment i think the Normani are winning against most of the Cheni but our alpha male is having none of it.

The real surprise are the Wui, we have managed to pick one belligerent devil of a fish who has staked his claim on a rock and is not at all shy about defending it against Normani and Cheni alike. The rest are not as visible but I believe i have seen all 5 of the Wui we have in the tank this morning which is quite amazing given how secretive they are. I just hope this is a good sign for the future.

I have pictures to post but they will have to wait until later today, including some of the dithers we settled on... Yes at last!

Thanks, as ever, to Emma and Steve for being such great hosts :-)

Sounds lovely!! I think you walked away with a great choice! Especially the Annamia normani, these chaps are great additions to any Hillie tank. :D

Got any pictures there, Emma? Some internet sources say yoyo's get to 8 inches but I've never seen any evidence of this! How big are these fellas?

Dave, I'd say these were approx 6" TL, but it was their girth that was so impressive. I'll try for some pics before Helen picks them up, as it might be easier to get pictures of them in the smaller stock tanks.

Thanks for putting up the pics Mark! You have more grovelling to do yet though!
