Of course I don't mind you using it. It is flattering that you want to. I only object to commercial interests using it to in some way benefit their business.....like Aquatic Wharehouse in England

I'm guessing that this fish will be in the 7" to 8" range. Bigger would be really impressive if it retains it's baby looks.

Wow, nice pics Emma, i suspect that thick line thin line , is a Syncrossus juvenile trait ! thinking back to that pic of the two juvenile Berdmorei , the one Kamphol showed to us , way before they were imported, they had that similar style pattern ! these look like tiny Helodes ? there seems to be a good few rays in that dorsal , BUT we shall have to see them after they have grown ! WHO NEEDS HYBRIDS ?

Alas no, it's apparently 'top secret' at the moment!

Very nice indeed!! :D

New location, new species, new variant of a known Syncrossus :?:

Either way, the pure joy of fish-keeping is watching them grown into adulthood and these little chaps will certainly bring this! 8)

As promised, here are a few pics and a couple of short video clips of the new little Laos Tiger loaches. They obviously still need to put on weight (lots of frequent feedings of small foods are taking place every day), but I also suspect that the size of the head in comparison with the body could also be a juvenile trait (I've personally never seen any Botiine species this small before). Although these were supposedly coming in at 1.5" TL, most are actually well under that. Because of this, I am not comfortable with putting them on general sale just yet, the only exceptions will be for those serious hobbyists who can ensure their needs are met whilst still in a crucial stage of growth development.

Great fish, Emma. And a worthy time to mention again...

Where on earth are those t-shirts, Martin?

I love the video! They don't seem particularly snippy with each other.

Judging from their behaviour, I don't think it will be long before they fatten up nicely.

Lovely little blokes.
Some look scaringly thin though. Seems they won't do that for long, according to the videos.

Cool little munch-bunch. They should put on weight eating so avidly, plus some Levamisol treatment. Amazing colour.
