I guess we all get a bit nervous, when some guy "declares" another "desease", as we know already plenty of them...

For my part, I do the unprecise communication also in German, so I need to improve anyway

I remeber, this organ was cut and had already a “creamy” consitency, while the one from the female was still solid enough to be cut…

Thank you Wolfram!
For some this may be gruesome, but for me, it's fascinating. 8)

You communicate very well. It is a pleasure to listen to and read your posts. You are well educated and have nothing to apologize for. This is a World Wide Forum. I am glad you are here with us :)

Shari ,you were very astute to recognize that immediatly 8)

She is in with 3 other B. almorhae all bigger than her and they seem to interact with each other and leave her alone, on the very rare occasions that there is interaction between the female and the other 3 it is usually her chasing them :?

When she slims down is it always in response to water changes, or something else?

When it happens it doesn't seem to coincide with any water changes or anything, she normally starts fattening up around 2 months after the last time and she could stay at what could be considered maximum size for a couple of weeks and then she will let the eggs go at night or early on a morning.

I have tried to see if there do seem to be any particular triggers but I haven't noticed any :?
