Is that a Fire Eel? Absolutely gorgeous. I am totally in love with eels.

I thought it was fire eel too but the markings are a bit different.. Probably a sub species of M. E.

I searched fishbase a bit and the closest I could find was indeed Mastacembelus erythrotaenia, but I too noticed the markings are slightly different.

I saw that eel on Siamensis too, my best guess is the fire eel.
Anyone else notice the two loaches in the background? The top one appears to be a Yasuhikotakia morleti. It's hard to make out the bottom one, but I would guess it's a kubotai
