the salt is still in the tank, not as much though only about 1 tablespoon per 2 gallons. temp is holding at 82 and omg they're so cute... one of the loaches who had it really bad on the tail has some scarring, but they're not open. they look like mini craters. thanks for all of your help though. i have a slime coat type thing for the little guys, they swim in it when i drop the liquid into the tank.

Yeap, the salt is a K.O. for ich. Glad things came out allright.... mebbe change only 10% of water each week for the next two, because you changed so much water right away... want to keep at least some elevated levels of salt for a while to ensure total(i know not total whoever decides to pick) ich annihilation.

glad they seem to be better poeticpyro :) hope things continue to improve.

had one thought on your filtration. you said you use carbon in your filters? If so I'd suggest not using the carbon at all day-to-day. its not needed for healthy filtration, and the space in your filters where the carbon was can be better utilized with bio-media.

you may have just been using it to remove meds and such, not sure, just a thought for ya.
