I'm sorry but IMO comments like this have no place here. This is the most professional site on the net. I'm constantly amazed at the depth of knowledge and the willingness to help here!

They're still skinny, but not sunken in anywhere

this is a good indication that they may not have skinny disease, it could be malnutrition, underfeeding, other conditions. we dont know for sure, we have not seen the fish or photos, so cant jump to conclusions. there is no point in worming a fish that is not eating and does not have worms

are you able to post a photo? people on here could then advise you if they think it would be worth you worming them.

i asked this on the first page of the thread.

Skinny disease is not the only reason for a fish to be skinny!


can i suggest you please read and pay attention, rather than diving in and having a go. it has only gone to show your ignorance.

the sheep wormer is a tried and tested cure for internal worms, your in the UK so really you should have known this, the first person to mention this and advice everyone who keeps fish to dose the fish especially those that were caught in the wild.
his name was Derek Lambert who passed away a number of years ago, this was publisized in Todays FishKeeper, no longer in print
Derek was one of the leading livebearer people in England and also a very well known name on the show curcuit, he was also the Editor of the said magazine.
