hmm..i'll be sure to try this in the summer
but for now, i will see if we have any honeydew or cucumber in the house..haha

well, couldnt find any cucumbers or honeydew, but i found some frozen peas...
i thawed them, then took off the tough outer skin...both halves were gone withing 20 seconds, i just put 2 more halves in, but they are just being pecked at..i think i'll take them out...
the yoyo just sucked up the first one though

At the time the biggest one was about 4.5" and the smallest about 2".....going from memory. The little ones are near enough the same size as the big ones now though!

next time try seeded water melons. the seeds are tasty too and nutritious. the seed shells might be too hard but those are huge clowns. Do they have teeth?

oh yea, when you feed watermelon, do you all use the kind with white or black seeds??

Watermelon, eh? That just so happens to be MY favorite fruit- I have it in the house at all times, usually 4 packs

I can get through a couple of them in a day. But I'd be more than happy to share with my loaches!
Gorgeous pictures as usual, Emma. I love them all lined up as if they're eating a cob, adorable ^_^ And Marge busting in and putting her flag in the feed is hilarious

definitely the boss!

i fed my pleco and loaches some watermelon today. the loahes picked at it a little bit but the pleco tore it up. he then commenced pooing red! at first i was worried and then i remembered the watermelon!
