I would get all the frogs together and quarantine them. And you could get the Bettas at the same time and quarantine them in their new tank.

Make sure the bettas can't see each other.

That is what I am doing right now with the bettas. I had already had them for a month before in smaller tanks and decided to upgrade. They have been in the 10 gallon for 2 weeks now.

I am going to quarantine the bettas either way. The tanks that the bettas were in are good enough to hold 2-3 frogs for a little while, as long as I do water changes- which I will. They both have lids and filters. I can get a heater, but the temperature of the water in the betta tank is 74'F. Should I just set up my 10 gallon qt tank? I need to get a new heater for that one anyway- but it would take up a lot more space than the 2 betta tanks. That does not really matter- I just want the frogs and everyone to be heathy. I also dont really have the space to set up aother 10 gallon at the moment, where I could watch them, and be able to do water changes easily. Once again- I could if I had to but I would rather not.

I will do what I need to, but it would be nice to make it easier, and use the betta tanks. (not actually made and labeled betta tank- just calling it that myself...It is not too small. I have done a lot of reearch, and it is good for 2-3 frogs.)

I love the frogs! They are pretty small, and it doesn't look like some of them got much food at the store :( . They had them with no other fish, but they had snails, and gravel- they were not able to get the food that was caught in the gravel- the snails did. They are all in my 10 gallon QT tank for now. I dont think they would stay very healthy in the smaller tanks.

I feed my frogs frozen blood worms, and they grow quickly with the blood worms. I also give them frog food, but I don't see them actually eating it. Make sure you have a lid for the frogs. One of mine got out yesterday. I caught it trying to escape from my room, right before my cat got it.

I plan to get a pack of the bloodworms tonight. I am also going to try the frog and tadpole bites. They are cheap, so it wont really matter if they dont like it. How often should I feed them while they are small? You are so lucky you found yours! I do have a lid, with all holes covered.

They have never made an attempt to escape. My cat alerted me that something was lose. Sometimes my crawfish escape. I also brought in plants because of the cold weather, and the plants had frogs in them, so I have been catching frogs for days. I actually threw the ADF with the tree frogs, until it clicked in my brain that there was something else going on. I went back and took a look, and there was the ADF. Took him out of the cage and threw him in the tank.

I need to change the way that the back of my tank is closed to make sure there are no more escapes.

The frog and tadpole bites is what I have. All the other fish like them, so they don't go to waste. :) And the Bettas like the blood worms, so they don't go to waste either.

One of the frogs died :( I found him on the bottom of the tank 10 minutes ago. He was the skinniest one, so I guess he wasn't getting enough food. It has been less than a week, so I am going in for a replacement. The food that I put in at lunch yesterday was gone by that night. He was fine. None of the frogs had anything wrong with them- other than being a bit skinny at first- working on that. There is only one that is skinny, the others are eating, and are looking a lot better- not bloated, but not skinny. Looking healthy. I think the best thing right now would be to get the frozen bloodworms- then I can feed them be hand or with some "giant tweezers".

You may want to treat for parasites, but go to a frog forum and check and see how to treat for them without hurting the frogs. Mine were thin when I got them, but grew very fast and fat.

I was able to look at them for a while today. They dont look skinny. They look normal now, without any bumps on their sides- where they were skinny when I got them the looked almost like the first picture (skinny frog) on this page: http://www.wetwebmedia.com/fwsubwebindex/dwfaffdg.htm

Now they look (a little smaller) like the first picture (underside of frog is shown) on this site: http://badmanstropicalfish.com/profiles/profile99.html

I could tell right away that they finally got enough food, because they were a lot more active, and they did not look as skinny.
