Are there any places in the US that ship healthy wuis?

What is the weight / amount of "a small tray"?

No idea Tom, but it was a styrofoam tray about 4" by 7" with a single layer of snail flesh extracted from the shells whole. They're quite rubbery little critters I'm guessing maybe 500grams???

Tom: wuis tend to show up as contaminants so I have never seen a reliable source.
I stopped at a couple of Walmarts today and saw only a handful of unhealthy beaufortia at one of them. Maybe next week some Vanmanenia will show up. I certainly hope so.

As for dithers, I got 10 of these guys, they seem happy enough.

Tank has cycled completely saw a ammonia spike for about 15 minutes ant then all results were 0 ammonia, 0 nitrites, 2 nitrates, ph 7 temp 68.7-71.1 F (unheated)

Those danios were sold as "Purple Passion" $0.50 each

They're ideal River-Tank dithers because they live at the base of waterfalls in nature.

I have some of those too and they will love the flow.
The colors are impressive too, especially on the males.

Thats what I read earlier and the guy at the LFS said that they were going to love the river tank.

Those are very nice, too.
However, the name "Purple Passion Danio" is used for Danio roseus so you may actually have them.
I would give them a little time to color up so that you can be sure of the ID.
Either way you have fish that will enjoy the river tank.

Either way, I'm glad to have them, and they are loving the current.

The reason I believe they are the second danio species is the presence of the orange line on the anal fin, mine have more of a purpley sheen compared with that picture, but look very very similar.

That doesn't sound like roseus then.

Maybe Martin will chime in. I'll see if I can get decent photos today. Like I said, either way they like the current, and I like them.
