Hels, if it's ok with you, please could you e-mail me the third picture down as I'd like to include it on the Botia striata species page. I'll need to crop it, but will of course make sure you are credited as being the photographer. :wink:
I also need to persuade Mad Duff to upload a pic of his strange B. striata too, so that we can build up a little gallery of these ones with markings 'other than the norm' (like we have for clown loaches).

the striata is different on the other side, but none of the pictures came out very well :roll: maybe i should feed them in a different place?

those striatas are awesome. especially the one with the random pattern. i wish they had some around here...

they are settling in fine :D hopefully i will have some pictures later. Toms reaction when he came home was "Oh my god, the size of them!" Fatty was a bit cross, and one yoyo was a bit scared at first, but they now seem to be loachy dancing around together :D

Hi Helen , superb pics of a truly strangely marked Striata ,is it the same on both sides , the odd patern i mean ?

Hi Andy,

Unfortunately, that B. striata hasn't been seen for some months now, so we think it probably went up to the big fishtank in the sky. :cry: Still it had a good innings, but would have been nice to have been able to have captured some pictures - shame it was so very secretive.
