Google it, Jim. It's a small card that can be mounted at the front of a book. Usually they say "From the library of..." so people who lend books out can (rarely) expect them back. But in the 80s lots of authors supplied signed book plates to their publishers, who then sent them out to bookstores to place in the books. It's a lot cheaper and simpler than sending round cartons of books. This was actually Atwood's favourite way of doing signings until she developed her robot arm.

A nice loach themed piece of art from old Thoene and the signatures of the authors would be a nice touch. Not too expensive to pull off.
