My master plan is to build an extremely large river paludarium with many of the features of this tank and the river tank combined. I'm dreaming that it will be about 24 ft long x 4 ft wide x 3ft high and viewable from all sides. This is like my 5 year plan though. Got to save plenty of money 1st.

I think my next project is to build a new island for the river tank. The cement on the island in some spots is starting to wear and it's exposing the foam. The foam breaks off into little pieces and floats to the top of the water, which I have to clean up. I've plugged a few spots with epoxy putty already, but this is not a good long term solution. I'll probably start detailing some plans for this project after X-mas. I'm not sure what I'll do yet. If anyone wants to throw some ideas at me I'd love to hear them. I know I gave up aesthetics for functionality, so I'd like to find a more natural solution. What I want is something like a big "chia pet", but how?
