Thanks Jetdav!
It will take at least three weeks before I'll consider stocking. There needs to be a good balance in the system and I want the plants to have some time to grow a little and establish themselves in the tank.

The water is clearing nicely now (not yet crystal clear, but getting there)...

Really nice. The light has a great effect on the sand/decor.

Very nice Dutch. It took quite a long time but it was worth it.

Thanks all! :D
I haven't updated the past few days, but I've been changing the tank a bit. The very large piece of wood was just too dominant and so it met with a saw....

I've ordered a java fern mother plant that will fill up the tank a bit more, and maybe (depending on its size) I will add a second.

Thanks!
The loaches are still a few weeks away. It will be at least three weeks before I put the first fish in the tank, which will be the dithers. I hope I will have the Java fern in the tank on wednesday.

Thank you! I now have a java fern in front of the large standing piece of wood, which looks very nice. I don't have time to make pictures, unfortunately. Plus, the algae are taking over the tank right now. Doesn't look very nice.

Cleaned the tank today and changed a few things. I think it's getting better now. Also some of the new plants are starting to grow a little and I hope that in a few weeks time it will give the tank a more established look.

Thanks! It's still getting used to it though. It's the first time I'm doing something like this so it's all new.

I've ordered a second large java fern to place in the back on the left side. After that I think it will be a matter waiting for the tank to settle and start with the most important part... Fish.
