Are yoyo and polka-dots compatible tankmates?

I currently have 3 yoyos of roughly 2-3" in size in a 46g bowfront. They are the only bottom dwellers. I'm thinking of adding 2 or 3 polka dot loaches as well. Will they hang together or no? My main concern is the polka dots are pretty small...maybe 1.5-2" max. Don't want them to be a snack. My yoyos are good guys, never harassed any of my other fish, even when I had cories, but wasn't sure about others of their own "kind." Should I wait until I can maybe find larger ones? These guys were so cute & active!

I have larger yoyos with smaller polka dot loaches with no issues
