Hmm...well I didn't have the baby yet. I didn't notice this thread until now but I came around a couple of days ago, too.
I have been busy setting up the baby's room. We drywalled and carpeted our walk up attic as a bedroom for our 3 year old daughter, and converted her previous bedroom into a nursery. We've been working on the attic for three months but things have been insanely crazy for the past couple of weeks trying to get things finished up, plus pulling baby supplies out of the attic and getting everything ready. Needless to say I'm a little stressed out, and yes, the fish are not exactly as high of a priority.
However, in my spare "relaxing" time, I have set up that 12 inch tank I mentioned in the freshwater forum. I sat on the couch and did the work on the coffee table. I made a diy hood for it, planted it, and the surprise diamond tetra fry are in it, although not all in the same evening. Someone needs to get my perception of realistic personal expectations under control.
They're telling me its a boy but they told someone I know the same thing and they were wrong! I'll be sure to let you all know. And yes, I'm sure I'll disappear for a little bit when he/she does come.
