Extremely similar Jim. They search for food with a sort of sideways scything movement of the nose through the gravel. Greedy too....always searching.

Well.....they've been in use since 1998, but they also get thoroughly washed under tap-water about once a month.

I think it was some "common name" Jim, but I don't know what. Harold had them labelled up as Liniparhomaloptera disparis until clever clogs here walks in and says uh-uh. Told him I thought they were Vanmanenia then confirmed it once I got home.

If you look in the background in the first picture, you can see another fish with its dorsal a bit lower. They never have them down more than that.
