Looking forward to seeing the new tank, David. How many friends do you think you will be getting for this Weather Loach? I'm sure it'll love the extra swimming space and the company.

i have been thinking about the numbers of the fish, i think i will be getting 4, if i let go of other stock, weather loaches will be the first to take that place.

oo, i've actually got a question, are aborichthys elongatus strictly hillstream? i've heard they're not strictly and could go in a medium flow?

other fish will include a male selectivly bred(most colourful out of a spwn of 200) geophagus brasiliensis so he will be taking a fair amount of space because of his body mass & bio load etc. there will be a few leopard dainos and zebra, i would love lots more but there just not enough room for them. also some crimson spotted rainbowfish. the numbers i'm thinking about will add to 100" will will be me fully stocked.
unfortunately i can't make it planted(well not much) because of the geo so it wont be the best looking tank around but as long as it's good for the fish, i'm happy. :D
