I can't believe they were that cheap!

Post by Laura »

I just picked up 6 Pangio anguillaris for the low price of $4 - that's $4 for all of them, not $4 each!

I hadn't intended on buying any fish, but since I only have 4, they needed some buddies. I just about never see them for sale so I had to grab them given the opportunity (and the price).

They're tiny little skinny things and happily worming around in my quarantine tank.

I was happy to find them. Assuming they all make it, I'll have a group of 10 - my 4 originals and the 6 new ones.
I'm surprised by how active the new ones are - they are running up and down the glass and quite active whereas I rarely see my first group except at feeding time. I've provided cover for them, they just don't seem to want to use it.
Maybe my old ones are just lazy.....

That's a very nice sized group. 8) Sounds like the new ones are doing the Loachy Dance.
