sorry for the crap picture quality - i just grabbed the camera and hoped she wouldnt notice. some of the others noticed, and came over to investigate:

and eventually she caught on and did the "this loach is reversing" trick :roll:

Marcos: er, she is huge! maybe 5" ???? i am not sure as they havent co-operated with staying still near a ruler yet. she was fatter when i got her, but with the big tank with current to play in, she has lost a bit from her upper body. and the other loaches make sure that her and Bertha dont eat all the pies any more.

thanks for all the nice comments. i will most some more when i can get them in focus better :evil:

normally they shoot off as soon as they realise a camera is in hand, let alone turned on, so i thought i'd post anyway, and i sort of liked the loachy shadows in one :oops: these fish are so like cats :lol:
