Congratulations Jim, I have been searching for new Cheni in the UK for months now with no luck.

Hi Adrian,

I have seen what i believe were Homaloptera in a few local branches of Maidenhead Aquatics (Guildford and Woking). I can't confirm the ID but i think they might of had a mix of H. smithi and H. tweediei.

What can you tell me about them? Are they shy?
The one I own is a very chilled out loach, not shy as such and will go about its business without much fear of anything. Since i switched to JBL Tab food which sticks to stones and glass it has even got into the habit of trying to munch on my finger ...
