I have had six Corica for over a year now, I do seem to have been fortunate in that I haven’t actually witnessed any really spiteful aggression. Having heeded the advice given when I first brought the fish, I gave them their own individual caves right from the get go. There were the expected tussles...

Great pics as ever Nonn, I absolutely love this type of thread.

I would go for pic 65 & 66 being some type of Devario similar to Devario laoensis or Devario chrysotaeniatus. The fish that caught my eye are just above 55 to 64, is there anybody able to help with an id.

Here’s some pics of what the lfs are selling as Schistura sussanae, to my untrained eye they look very much like my Schistura vinciguerrae. They where fairly cheap so I brought a couple. What do you think? http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f187/The_Lion_13/1.jpg http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f18...

From what I’ve read opinion is quite divided, slightly edging towards the negative. The thing is as you say it speeds up the cycle & is not the instant cycle that some people think it is, so fish need to be introduced gradually. Khullies as with other loaches do need an already mature tank so will n...

That's a great picture, looks to be as full bodied as any of mine. It's good to know there's a little more growth to come. Thanks for your help

Cheers for looking Emma, knowing my memory it was a completely different month. There was a couple of pictures of a botia type loach & if remember rightly it had a black body with a white irregular stripey pattern. I took an instant fancy to this fish as did a couple of others, i just can't recall t...

I'm definitely no expert, but my experience of Pangio type fish thus far has seen them grow to their estimated length quite quickly then fill out but not really grow any longer, so seeing that my Panda khulies are now all quite stocky i don't see that they'll grow much more. Pangio Piperata in the p...

Pangio unknown 01

Hi all, I would like to hear from others keeping this fish as to size, what sizes are yours? I have been keeping these since about September, all seem to have stopped growing at about two inches long & have filled out quite nicely. I do realise there still isn’t a great deal known about this fish, b...

Sorry if i am being dim, are you saying colour varies from region to region? As ever i want my fish to be as content as possible, I'm still relatively new to the hobby so decoding colours is all going towards my learning.
